Juxtaposing Personality

Personality….. We all have one. Right? Or we have many.

Let’s try to get an overview of what personality means. It is how we act, our attitude, our emotions, our behavior. It’s a day to day thing which we carry throughout our life.

We all believe we carry a image in the society. People know us because of our personality. That is what binds us to each other.

But when we go deep, we realize there are many personalities within us. See for yourself. When you speak to yourself you are very true. You don’t hide anything from yourself. Your conscious always guides you.

Then you have your family with whom you may or may not be close. But you are loyal because you know sooner or later they will be the ones to back you up.

Friends account the most part of anyone’s life. There are different types of friends. You know it well. A simple differentiation would be hi-bye friends and close friends. You act differently with each group you create.

Then comes your future life partner – gf/bf. You act very innocently with her. As if all your sins are washed in the river ganga and you are pure as fire. You try to portray whatever good is in you. By now you must have surely imagined yourself and identified the plethora of differences in you with her and with others.

Your colleagues at the job are mostly given the formal outlook and worked out differently in a way which won’t hamper your personal life.

And there is one more personality, Virtual personality. Here a person acts differently from his real world. Because he has no disturbance here. Only his mind is focused on things which he wants to create. 

When you put each of your personality side by side, you see multiple humans with one face. All act differently. And what matters is all form the very YOU. Each unique thread from all is woven to make one distinct person.

One of the important aspect here is people get impressed by any one personality of a person and make a decision. That is not right. Coz you wont find your loved personality when you need it. They all have different time zones and there is no guarantee that they will turn up the moment they are required. 

The only thing one has to vouch that your personality shouldn’t have cascading effect on your growth path.

A message to all: In the journey so called life, you will change as per the situations that will come across you, but don’t forget what you are in the search of what you want to be.
