Forceful loving

Two singles met on a social networking site. It was a dull evening. Samrudhi had accepted a friend request of a boy named Akshay long back. It had been over a year since nobody chatted with each other.

So on that dull evening Samrudhi just pinged Akshay. The latter was surprised. His first reply to her Hi was “Did you accidently do it.”

This girl was desperate to know him. But Akshay was cool. He had nothing to hide. They both started to get in the groove. As a matter of fact Akshay didn’t know he had wished Samrudhi on her b’day before. 

Slowly as the evening started fading away, their friendship started mounting up. They were surprised to know the similarity between them. It was a 99.99% match. The 0.01% was differed due to her liking to SRK which Akshay wasn’t in for.

 

The chat was on in full swing. The trust between two started gravitating towards each other. Akshay had to go out for some work. So he said bye to Samrudhi. They were both like – Had nice time knowing each other. Before bidding final bye Akshay gave his mobile no and left.

While he was out he got her message on his mobile. And guess what it was Samrudhi stating how happy she was feeling that he trusted her and gave his mobile number.

Then the chat again intensified on mobile via smses. Night dawned up. After dinner Akshay’s feelings became deeper about Samrudhi. He proposed her at that moment. Little did the two innocent singles know what they were going through. 

Samrudhi started crying. She didn’t knew how to interact. She affirmed his proposal. Coz she was also liking him and didn’t want to loose him. 

And this is how their story started. Akshay couldn’t call her because of his family’s constant watch on his activities. They continued their feelings via chats and sms till one day when it was enforced on him to call her. 

They had a small fight. The fight was because of Akshay’s laziness. She had asked him to accompany her to fill a college form which he denied. And on that evening she met with an accident. Her auto slipped. Akshay was shocked when he came to know. He called her up at once. At that time both heard each other’s sweet voice. 

Since then they started calling each other, but on a smaller scale. Samrudhi used to complaint since Akshay was a shy guy and used to speak very less. He used to wonder what his friends used to talk with their girlfriends.

Later Akshay started stressing on Samrudhi to meet up. But the latter used to decline by giving various reasons. 

This continued for a while and silly fights used to take place for some hours in a day. The guy started loosing his patience. 

Though both liked each other’s pic on the social networking site, and adored each other. It was not a case of two blind men describing an elephant. 

Whenever the fights were resolved both used to promise each other that no matter what they will remain friends forever. And time went ahead.

The fights increased. Love life was brought down back to friendship level. Both knew that things were not working out. They were loving each other forcefully and not out of free will.

Akshay used to get frustrated since he was not getting a good job. Samrudhi knew it. She used to try her best to convince him. He always used to blame himself. She was also fed up telling him not to loose self respect. Because even she was not getting a good college for her further studies

And one day both got their desired things. Both were happy. But their love life was not in a good turn. They used to call each other seldom since their timings rarely matched.

A month went by. There was a day when they both met online. The emotions for Samrudhi had changed. She told Akshay – You no longer interest me. We were not ment to be together. Akshay was shocked. He didn’t knew what to say. He tried his best to hold her trust. But her last line made him loose it. It was- I have found a new person in my life and I am happy with him.

Akshay was shattered. He knew that it was not true. She blocked him from viewing her profile. He tried his best to speak to her but nothing happened.

Its been over 2 years, her memories still haunt him. He dials her number but before it gets connected he cuts the call. He still believes that it would be unfair to usher in her life. She might be living happily with her friends and must have forgotten him.

But he has realized that he was not that mature enough to be in a relationship. 

He understood there can’t be forceful loving. In love there should be space for each other and between each other. But that space shouldn’t be more to escape the comfort zone of each other.
