Mirroring ourselves

I walk a lonely road and my image follows me
But will I ever set myself free from me….

A short two liner to start with this thought. I wonder whether you have noticed in the computer games we used to play. We had two types for viewing a game or precisely speaking there was an option in the camera settings. It was a first person shoot or a third person shooter game. In the latter format we could see how our player is fighting. And in other part we just saw what is in front of the player without the visibility of the player body.

Why am I emphasizing on such position setting?

Coz our life is not much different than a computer game leaving few exceptions like restart or cheat codes option. Jokes apart. The main aspect here is some of us are ignoring the third party view of ourselves.

Whenever we indulge in some kind of action like arguing with someone or defending our side we usually review those in first person way. We visualize just what was in front of us. How about viewing the same scenario from a third person view.

Will the outcome change? No. But our perceptions will change. How? Coz at that time we will not be ourselves but the spectators watching both sides of the case. We can confess if we find ourselves guilty.

An immoral thought is supported by an unfulfilled wish and is triggered by our rage. This is called a mistake.

Don’t worry. Event the hottest iron that is ready to be molded cools down. Some actions can’t be controlled but they can be made good to some extent. Just try to mirror yourself in your every evil smile and every grudge. Mostly when our actions are unethical.

Happy Living.
