Pull – Push Factor theory

The pull-push factor theory is known by almost everyone. Still I feel the need to throw some insights in it. There are some misconceptions that need to be addressed.

There are many ways to lead your career. Some of the ways apart from the above two are: Parental advice, friend’s advice, ego’s advice and leftovers with the flow.

Corollary of haste

In the flow of time we are in constant need of various things. We manage to get some which are meager in terms of our expectations. Others are postponed. They mostly become farfetched dreams. Imagine buying a spacious flat at South Bombay. 

The things which we acquire either by emptying our pockets or of our parents’ are not effectively used. What I mean to say is we are not happy with it. We often tend to lose out on what we have in anticipation of a bigger chunk of what we possess. Why?
