In the flow of time we are in constant need of various things. We manage to get some which are meager in terms of our expectations. Others are postponed. They mostly become farfetched dreams. Imagine buying a spacious flat at South Bombay.
The things which we acquire either by emptying our pockets or of our parents’ are not effectively used. What I mean to say is we are not happy with it. We often tend to lose out on what we have in anticipation of a bigger chunk of what we possess. Why?
Let’s look into the root cause of it. Obviously money right? Well Yes at this moment but No at a later stage.
We believe that this humanly created purchasing power will solve all our unfulfilled dreams. Yes we have heard of few personalities who can exploit it. We will look into two sides of acquiring money.
Assume we have won a jackpot (KBC) or inherited a long forgotten property. So this makes us wealthy. We are happy only before we really acquire it. Coz acquiring it is a tedious task. I need not describe to what extent we have to pay the so called guarding dogs to achieve our own money.
Second case is procuring it illegally. You can call it luck. Imagine a bag filled with cash lying besides you. Nobody to vouch for it. Serious dilemmas. You take it. You successfully bring it home.
In both the above scenarios there lies a big risk. Since the heat on you has increased, you are brought to limelight. There comes a time when man fears his own creation. Any change in the speed of your life will trigger the minds of people around you.
The fear of getting caught in the second example will haunt you. The tension will aggravate your life. You will forget your dreams and worry the present-future. So what’s the use of being greedy.
This greediness or haste is not the beginning of a future but the end of your present. There is no harm in living like others rather than acting to live like some.
