Her Blessed Family

When a mother is pregnant there is a curiosity amongst her close people if it would be a boy or girl. Thankfully the government has made it illegal to know before birth about the gender of the baby. The curiosity comes to an end after 9 months. Husbands in the mean time equivocate and try to assure everyone that they are ready for either of it. Finally after the epic operation is completed the doctor comes out and says – Operation successful. Congratulations. It is a XXXX

Eyes get filled with tears when the father sees his exhausted wife looking at him and the tiny baby crying of being awakened to reality. And in few days relatives, friends try to figure out the baby’s looks match up with the father or mother. The baby starts growing and finally becomes a girl child in the family.

While the mother is busy nurturing her child with good food, exercise and knowledge the father comes early from office with toys and things that he can trade with the baby to get pure love and a sense of achievement over anything in life. On weekends he becomes so obsessed with her that he forgets other things and tries not to give her to anyone else. Finally the time comes when she is put in a school. Her parents leave no stone unturned for her safety and convenience.

The girl starts making friends in school and learns new things. Her parents explain her about the good and the bad decisions she made. They make her strong by pushing her ahead and make her win medals in various fields. They try to show they are not that concerned about her daily activities but they have already done calculations about the risk she might face and things she might need.

The girl in her college life tries to explore a lot of new places along with her friends. Her parents get a bit worried as she is not aware of the sly society that surrounds her. She tries to avoid her father’s advice and still opts for discovering the night life. She wears short clothes, drinks alcohol and travels in boyfriend’s car.

Finally the time comes when she turns into the age of getting married. Parents try their best to find a perfect husband for their precious daughter. A lot of profiles are scanned through over match making websites to those suggested by acquaintances. Face to face meetings are arranged and then later background checks are done until a suitable groom is zeroed down in a holistic manner.

Preparations are done in full swing. The girl’s father tries his best to offer the best of things for the wedding. There is no count for costly gifts being offered to the groom and his family. Bride’s parent tries to make the groom feel much satisfied and present him with anything he demands. After all the only thing the parents want is happiness in their girl’s eyes forever.

It is very hard to describe the moment of giving away a part of family which is treasured for more than 20 years to another family. Those are golden tears that shed through the father’s and the girl’s child. The girl thanks her mom and dad to whatever they gave her and protected her until she became self sufficient. It is nature’s law that opposite genders attract. The father is the only person who understands the loss he incurred not in monetary terms but emotionally.

The girl starts a new family with her loving husband and they ultimately understand the importance of a girl being born in their family. It is a great deal of honour for every blessed couple to raise a girl child and offer it selflessly.
