Doesn’t the title infer a sequence of events? For many it
started with your best friend getting a girlfriend and you getting a lesser
priority in his life. There comes jealousy. Some might argue here that jealousy
might come from you not getting that girl. Introspect and you will find the
former cause. This leads to greed of having a girlfriend. And the lonely rider
tries his luck with many until he finds love.
Imagine your work place, newly joined a team with few others.
You get trained with them. Some excel in certain aspects and get recognized.
You feel jealous. When it comes to work allocation you take up job out of greed
but later realize you are making mistakes. Your boss shouts. You start hating
your job. Let’s take another example. Your elder sister gets all the praise as
she is good in following mom’s order. Ultimately you hate your sister for the
greed of mom’s love after being jealous of her.
Can we do anything to fix this. Yes. Jealousy, greed, love are
all human behavior which is obvious. The fun is to make something productive of
it. Let’s introspect. Why are we jealous. Something which we lack to produce. So
in this case rather than spoiling our mood we can cheer for the one who does
it. Appreciation has nothing to lose. Greed comes when we join the race without
wearing our gears on. It doesn’t make sense to play rough. Here we should learn
for the benefit of own by devoting enough time to suffice the hunger. One
starts loving when things appear smooth to him. But this is not the end. One
should relish the happiness out of it. If you just love and forget it after
sometime you might fall into an infinite loop of Jealousy-Greed-Love.
As I always say learn to divert the energy in a manner that
would best suit the most ideal action. These things are vital for our growth
and as we found how to best optimize them, the door to success is not far away.
