Apathy towards life

We all have certain hobbies or likings. Ergo, we indulge in it and sometimes get addict to it. Most of the men like sports while women gravitate towards shopping. Per se all live to enjoy one or the other thing. It is perfectly rational to get attached. Ever thought of Sannyasis. Those are the ones who wish to renounce worldly and materialistic pursuits. 

However they dedicate their lives to spiritual pursuits.There exists certain class of people in our society who wish to be different. They believe all tend to deviate to such things and lose their focus. So this class lives aloof, free from any kind of addiction. This apathy is what separates them from the rest.

We live in the 21^st century and the life has evolved from hunting for survival to searching existence of parallel universe. Between this phase humans have learnt lot of things and decided their careers. Though it differed from their likings but focused more on earning for living a better life. The horizon expanded to venture into many things, not restricted by retrogression.

Successful people are focused and believe in their passion towards what they do. They also do not like to deviate to other things. However you must have by now noticed if these two people are juxtaposed, apathetic don’t even like doing what they do for living. Negation is part and parcel of their life.

It is a decision of every individual of who he intends to become, whether he wants to become successful or happy or both. Living inside a dark room, without the knowledge of outside world will only hamper your own life. Here I recall the economic term ceteris paribus – other things remaining same.

It is said life is a gift from God. He let us live in this beautiful abode and fulfill our desires. I believe life is a flow and we should learn to understand its waves. Life is too short to explore everything. Given that it’s a onetime journey once should avoid apathy towards any aspect of living. The sense of liking everything should dwell in our life. A matured person understands what is wrong and what is right for his life. If required have apathy towards apathy. Period.
